GEOPLAN was founded in Athens, Greece, in 2019 by a team of esteemed Greek scientists:

• Mr. Georgios Patsis, a chemist holding a PhD in Chemistry, specialising in the design and development of diagnostic radiopharmaceuticals,
• Mr. Leonidas Chatziantoniou, a biologist with an MSc in Molecular Biology and Genetics, with extensive expertise in the development of promotional sales networks and sales force management
• Mr. Athanasios Zlatanos, a chemist with an MSc in Marketing and Project Management, possessing extensive experience in the promotion and marketing of pharmaceutical products.

Their firm belief in the therapeutic value of food supplements as a fundamental component of modern preventive healthcare and disease management, prompted them to pursue the development of advanced, highly effective formulations.

With strong focus on efficacy and quality, the development of FORTIUS product line was driven by the urge to address health challenges encountered in everyday life. These innovative formulations are scientifically substantiated, designed with synergistic or cumulative ingredient interactions, and produced in optimal ratios based on comprehensive literature reviews. Thanasis Zlatanos

Chemist, MSc

A Chemist holding an MSc in Marketing & Product Management, Thanasis has over 20 years of experience in promoting Greek generic pharmaceuticals as medical representative. He specializes in identifying the evolving medical community needs and providing innovative solutions that enhance everyday clinical practice. He has played a key role in expanding the medical detailing network, working closely with experienced medical representatives across Greece. Being a Geoplan co-founder, he combines his scientific expertise with his lifelong passion for sea activities, which he enjoys all year round.

Leonidas Chatziantoniou

Biologist, MSc

A Biologist with an MSc in Molecular Biology and Genetics, Leonidas has worked both in pharmaceutical research and commercial operations within the Greek pharmaceutical industry. As a Geoplan co-founder, he focuses on the strategic development of novel, innovative product formulations. He combines his scientific expertise with his passion for sports, particularly as a long-distance runner.

Kalliopi Alexiou

Biologist, BSc

A Biologist with experience in pharmaceutical Quality Control, Kalliopi has served as the head of a microbiological laboratory, contributing to research and development (R&D) of new products. She currently works as an R&D assistant at Geoplan, managing regulatory affairs and liaising with authorities for the notification of food supplements, while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Additionally, she oversees the coordination and management of orders, supplies, and inventory.

George Patsis

Chemist, PhD

With a strong academic background in Chemistry and a PhD in diagnostic radiopharmaceuticals, George has extensive experience across all stages of pharmaceutical manufacturing and quality assurance. As a Geoplan co-founder, his passion for research and innovation is the driving force behind the design and development of new, innovative products. He is responsible for overseeing production process and ensuring adherence to the highest quality standards.
